Statement of Purpose

The Appliqué Guild of Australia Inc is a Not-for-profit organisation as set out under Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (the Act).

The principal objective of the Guild is to promote the art and craft of traditional and contemporary appliqué in quiltmaking and other textile art forms to members and the public.

To encourage and maintain high standards of workmanship, design and teaching.

To foster and maintain an interest in the history of appliqué.

To promote mutual aid and common interest amongst members through education, research, technical assistance, consultation and fellowship.
